At our February 9 Hearts and Hands gathering, Lois Stahley shared her faith story on how prayer has enriched and shaped her life. She invited us to join in the conversation on the place of prayer in our lives. Following this inspirational time, we put together 48 Quarts of Care for women at The Caring Place and Josephine Suites. Each quart contained small personal care items and personalized Valentines. Our next morning gathering will be on Monday, March 9, at 9 a.m. in the Olympic Room. Join us as we enjoy muffins and coffee, fellowship, and hearing about gardening. We will also be making garden-themed gifts to share with others. Additional morning gathering dates will be April 13 and May 4.

Upcoming service projects include providing meals for Safe Harbor volunteer staff and creating sewing kits for Lutheran World Relief. Women's luncheons are scheduled for May 12 and September 8. Business meetings are held the second Tuesdays of the month at 11 a.m. in the Olympic Room to discuss planning and outreach. All women are invited to attend to share ideas as we continue to expand our outreach to the women of our church and our community.
