What To Expect
A typical service will last about 60-70 minutes. The sermon is the same in both services. The Traditional Service at 8:30 am is liturgical in style, with hymns accompanied by organ/piano, and with creeds and responsive readings. The Contemporary Service at 10:30 am includes a worship band with songs typically chosen from CCLI's list of modern worship songs that are familiar in most evangelical churches.
What is the Traditional Service like?
The Traditional Service has a liturgical format and includes scripture readings, creeds, communion, a liturgist,and a biblical sermon from Pastor Mark.
Music typically includes hymns, a choir anthem, or special music. We invite and honor the presence of the Holy Spirit and provide space for personal reflection, confession and an encounter with Jesus.
What is the Contemporary Service like?
The Contemporary Service is intentionally designed in an engaging format, with a continuous flow of worship from start to finish. We welcome and honor the presence of the Holy Spirit and provide space for personal reflection and communion with God. Our prayer is that every person will experience a personal encounter with Him. The music is typically chosen from CCLI's list of top worship songs, which are familiar in most evangelical churches, and are led by our worship band. The Pastor's sermon is always from the Bible and is the same in both services.
Children's Ministries
During the 10:30am service, children age 3 through 5th grade are invited to participate in "Sonshine Kids." This is a multi-age Sunday school class which includes a Bible lesson, crafts and games. (This will continue during the summer months until the regular class schedule resumes in the fall.) Children are checked in by parents using our secure system. Parents receive a ticket with a code that matches their child's name tag. Children are supervised at all times by a minimum of two background-checked and safety-trained adults.
Children's Ministry "Glow"
"Glow" is our group for kids age Pre-K to 5th grade. We meet on Tuesday evenings from 6-7:30 pm. This evening includes dinner, games, worship songs, Bible stories and lessons to help kids learn to follow Jesus! After June 10th we'll be taking a break for the summer and will resume meeting in August.
Middle School Youth Group
This group is called "Spark" and meets on Sundays from 5-7pm in the OSLC Fellowship Hall. The evening includes dinner, a time of worship, group games and an interactive lesson from the Bible.We hope you join us!
High School Youth Group
This group is called "Ignite" and meets on Sundays from 6:30-8:30pm in the OSLC Fellowship Hall. The evening includes dinner, a time of worship, group games and an interactive lesson from the Bible.We hope you join us!

Founded in 1876, Our Saviour's Lutheran Church has been reaching the community with the gospel of Jesus Christ for nearly 150 years. We are an LCMC congregation.
